E&S is mainly a face-frame cabinet shop. Our overlay options are traditional (1/2″ overlay) and minimal reveal (full overlay). Customized styles available on request.
Minimum Reveal (Full Overlay)
In this modern configuration, the doors and drawers are sized to cover nearly the entire face frame, leaving only a tiny “reveal” of the wood behind. This provides a sleek, seamless appearance that mimics the look of high-end frameless cabinetry while maintaining the structural strength of a face frame.
Traditional Face Frame (1/2" Overlay)
This classic style leaves about an inch of the cabinet frame visible around the doors and drawers, creating a tiered, dimensional look. It works well for traditional or farmhouse aesthetics.
